Police Searching for Riverfront Park Attack Suspect

On February 9, 2010, just after 7am, Spokane Police responded to a report of a physical attack on a jogger in Riverfront Park.  A female high school student had been jogging near the clock tower when approached by a male.  The suspect grabbed the victim as she stopped to adjust her running gear.  The assault occurred in front of the Forestry Shelter.

The suspect is described as a white male, mid twenties, 5’08”-5’10”, weighing about 170 pounds. He may have had a light colored goatee. He was wearing blue jeans and a purple hooded sweatshirt with white block lettering across the front.  He was last seen running northbound through the park.
