The Spokane Police Department has launched a Graffiti initiative intended to address the graffiti issues through multiple avenues.
Graffiti has a negative effect on a resident's feeling of safety in their neighborhood. It creates a perception, whether factual or not, that crime is on the rise and gangs are moving into the area. hen graffiti appears and is left indefinitely, it sends a signal that people just don't care which in turn attracts other forms of crime and delinquency to a neighborhood.
Let's work together to keep our community clean!

Taking prompt, proactive steps to report and remove graffiti is the best way to prevent it from occurring in your community. The City of Spokane's Graffiti Nuisance Ordinance requires property owners to remove graffiti in a timely manner.
